The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation established in 1946. With a membership of over 17,000 professional women of African descent across 299 chapters in 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom, it stands as one of the nation's oldest and largest volunteer service organizations. The South Jersey Chapter, like many others, is dedicated to enriching, sustaining, and ensuring the cultural and economic survival of African Americans and individuals of African ancestry. Members of The Links, Incorporated contribute more than 1 million documented hours of community service each year, strengthening their communities and enhancing the nation.

The South Jersey Chapter of The Links Incorporated was chartered on May 11, 1951, by Margaret Roselle Hawkins, one of the national co-founders, in Camden, NJ. For 74 years, the South Jersey Chapter has proudly engaged in community service, advancing meaningful change through signature programs and powerful partnerships. Our impact includes Can You Imagine Me with local schools, Sister Will You Help Me—a cancer support initiative at Cooper Hospital, Creative Arts Summer Theater (C.A.S.T.) scholarships, Voter Registration engagement, and College Scholarship Awards that empower future leaders.
